| In order to develop China's economy,China's manufacturing enterprises must set up new strategic objectives via taking the development of a new generation of integrated innovation enterprises integrating information technology and manufacturing as the transformation objectives,which is developing high value-added industries such as artificial intelligence.At present,the world's emerging economies are competing for high-end positions in the global value chain.Chinese enterprises must know how to face the crisis pattern caused by various fierce competition and external political and economic factors.Led by the United States,the Obama administration,trade protectionism has risen in the world.Begins from trump administration,the world is entering the stage of "new trade protectionism".The United States government started to use political methods to suppress China's economic development via economy and politics.Especially for ZTE and Huawei events,the United States cut off the supply of software and hardware to excellent Chinese enterprises,blocking their global procurement supply chain,and tried to suppress Chinese enterprises which threatened the interests of the United States.Relevant research shows that ZTE and Huawei's suppliers are concentrated too much in the United States.Imagining if one enterprise's suppliers are concentrated in a certain country or region,once a variety of supply chain crisis occurs,the impact on the enterprise could be huge.In order to study the above-mentioned problems,this paper refers to the research literature of supplier concentration,which mainly studies the impact of supplier order quantity concentration on enterprise performance.Based on the ZTE and Huawei events,it is no doubt that we need to pay attention to and study the bad impact of supplier country concentration on enterprise performance.At present,there is almost no literature for the study of supplier country concentration,while the fact of supplier country concentration exists exactly.On the one hand,in order to prove the existence of country risk,many institutions have provided a very comprehensive and perfect variety of reference data from the perspective of investment and market country risk.On the other hand,the participation of many institutions in the research also shows the importance of country risk research.For enterprises,the country risk of investment market and supply market exists at same time.Especially in the current stage of the development of China's manufacturing industry,enterprises should not only face the uncertainty risk in the daily operation of the supply chain,but also guard against the crisis caused by economic,trade and even political repression at the national level.At the supplier side,the study of country related supplier risk is not outstanding.This paper studies the supplier country concentration based on the factor of supplier country risk.From the perspective of country risk,internal and external risk and supply chain crisis in supply chain risk management,the universality and concealment of supplier country risk are extended.These characteristics often make enterprises Managers ignore the existence of supplier country concentration risk in supply chain.The main research contents and contributions of this paper are as follows:Taking 2016-2018 China's high-tech listed companies as the research sample,through collecting a total of 107 complete enterprise data of information disclosure,this paper makes an empirical analysis and test on the supplier country and order concentration variables,resource integration variables and the long-term and short-term performance variables of enterprises to investigate the intermediary role of resource integration.In this paper,from the perspective of supplier order and country concentration,the research includes three points.Firstly,the direct impact on enterprises when supplier concentration may lead to risks.Secondly,how does the medium effect of resource integration,resource acquisition and utilization efficiency on the short-term and long-term performance of Chinese high-tech enterprises.Thirdly,because the supplier concentration includes two levels,this paper studies the effect of resource integration on enterprise performance as a whole.After analyzing the data,the conclusion is as follows:Firstly,there are risks in supplier concentration.From the data correlation analysis,there is a certain risk in the country concentration.Secondly,the supplier order concentration has no negative impact on the enterprise performance in the short term,but has a significant positive relationship,which shows that the efficiency of Chinese enterprises in obtaining and using resources in the short term is very good,but the long-term development performance is poor.In the long run,the strength of resource integration is not enough,especially in the utilization efficiency of resources.It shows that Chinese enterprises have a high awareness and action power to acquire science and technology resources,and they invest heavily in science and technology resources.However,from the data of patent conversion rate,they have not made good use of performance in the long and short term.Thirdly,on the whole,there is a positive relationship between supplier order concentration and short-term performance,and a very weak negative relationship between long-term performance.It shows that the crisis of supplier concentration can be resolved through resource integration,but the current strength is not enough.Resource integration does not form an intermediary effect between country concentration and performance,which may be that managers have not paid attention to the existence of country concentration.In addition,the state-owned enterprises are not as we traditionally think,the analysis shows that the state-owned enterprises pay attention to the integration of resources and the positive relationship with the overall performance,which shows that the state-owned enterprises in China pay attention to the integration of high-tech resources in the steady development. |
