The Impact Of Green Trade Barrier On Yunnan 's Agricultural Products Export And Its

Nowadays, the green trade barrier is widely used around the world. Both the developed western countries and the emerging developing countries restrict the exports of China’s agricultural products through the green trade barrier. Although Yunnan is a big agricultural province in the western area of China, there are still some problems on its agricultural products, such as the quality, the brand, the technology, and so on. As a result, it will inevitably encounter many green trade barriers during the international trade. Therefore, it is of great importance to analyze the present situation of the agricultural products of Yunnan Province and the green trade barriers it faced. Based on the analysis, we can put forward some suggestions,which is very significant not only in theory but also in reality.This paper uses both the normative analysis and empirical analysis methods.Based on the relevant theories of international trade, the paper discusses the mechanism to control the quantity and the price of the green trade barrier, terms of the trade effect and the social welfare effect. Then, it first analyses the reason why the agricultural products of Yunnan Province will encounter green trade barriers internally and externally. It also studies the positive and negative effect the green trade barrier made on the export of Yunnan Province agricultural products. Through this part, we can find that the impact of international green trade barrier on the export of agricultural products of Yunnan Province has two sides. On one hand, it will bring more challenges to the government, the export companies, and the agricultural industries. In order to realize the sustainable development of the exports of agricultural products, Yunnan Province needs to understand the green trade barrier and find appropriate ways to solve these problems. On the other hand, the green trade barrier will force the government, the industries and the companies to focus on the protection of the ecological environment, which will be helpful to improve the quality and the safety of agricultural products. In the long run, it will not only promote the improvement and innovation of the technology of producingagricultural products in Yunnan Province, but also strengthens the international competitiveness of it.This article is divided into five parts: the first part is the introduction. It focuses on the research background and the significance of the article, the content of the study, methods, innovation and insufficiency, as well as the literature review. The second part is the theory basis and the relevant concept. It defines the concept of green trade barriers, analyzes the causes of the barriers and concludes the features and the kinds of the green trade barriers. The third part is the theory analysis. It analyzes the internal and external reasons for the suffering from green trade barriers and the quantity control mechanism and price control mechanism of green trade barriers and economic effects. The forth chapter analyzes the influences of green barriers to Yunnan’s agricultural product export. The fifth chapter is the conclusion and suggestions. Based on the analysis above, this part puts forward some suggestions to protect Yunnan’s agricultural products from green trade barriers from the macro, medium and micro aspect.
