The Research Between R&D、Patent Application And Enterprise Growth

Enterprise’s growth problem has become the focus of research, but thefactors promoting enterprise growth have different views. In the theoryof the capital hypothesis, technology capital is thought to be the keyfactors to enterprise growth. The key factors to promote the enterprisegrowth is to get the technology capital into enterprise productivity,therefore, the research between the R&D investment in patent filings withthe growth of enterprise is of great significance.The analysis in this article is the relationship between R&D、patentapplication and enterprise growth and the way how to get the advantageby raising the R&D.At the same time, we discuss the situation of patentmanagement in our country and reveal the tendency towards to technologymanagement in company.In this paper we choose more prominent performance corporation in patentapplication-Huawei as the research object. We describe the situation ofR&D in Huawei and take a brief analysis between patent application andenterprise growth. We mainly analyze the relationship of the patentapplication, the sales revenue and total profit growth in1999-2010years.This paper analyzes in our country, the necessity of patent qualityascension as well as our country enterprise patent quality problems, andputs forward the corresponding countermeasures. The content of the paperis divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, includingthe research background, the research question and purpose. The secondpart is the literature review about the relationship between R&D, patentapplication and the growth of enterprise. The third and the fourth partmainly analyze the roles of R&D to the enterprise growth in Huawei. Thefifth part is on the basis of part3-4to explain the existing problems of Chinese enterprises in the patent quality, and to emphasize thenecessity of patent quality, and to puts forward the enterprise toestablish patent strategy. The last part is the conclusion andenlightenment of this article.The conclusion of this article is that R&D、 patent application andenterprise growth exist intimate relationship.The R&D、 technologydeploying and the assessing of technology revenue will compose thefinancial management. The innovation of the paper is combining thetechnology capital with financial management, and putting forward thatthe raising of technology capital saves the expenses of manpower. At thesame time, we think the continue rising of R&D and technology capital isthe critical factor of Huawei s success.The shortage of this paper is that the measure of technology and thefinancial evaluation of technological strategy have not made deepanalysis. Another aspect may exist other shortage and error. We will makefurther amendment.
