With faster pace of economic globalization and science technology, employeeshave to face chanllenges of mental health problems that fast transform and fiercecompetition bring. Much stress that employees bear has a ripple effect on anxiety,burnout and high turnover etc. These problems not only decrease quality ofemployees’ work and life, but also have a negative impact on organizationeffectiveness and persistent competitive force. Therefore, guided by people-orientedmanagement, how to establish win-win platform for growth of both employees andorganization to keep employees healthy, happy and high-effective in their work andlife has become a top subject of modern human resource management.Prevalent in western world, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) is apermenant sestemic programs provided by organizations with no charges. It aims tosovle employees’mental and behavioral problems to improve job performance as wellas organization effectiveness and management through training and consulting. Inaccordance with harmonious society that China has put forward,EAP has receivedwidely acknowledgement from society and organization in recent years and becomean important approach of modern human resource management.Due to DK company strategic plan and transform, employees have an obvioussense of crisis. Specificly, much stress employees suffer causes personnel earthquake.The phenomenon has a great impact on job performance and staff moral. And evenworse, it leads DK Company to struggle in strange phenomenon with high entry rateand turnover rate.Therefore, the thesis picks up DK Company as investigation objectto study necessity and feasibility of EAP in DK Company with employeeoccupational health psychology questionare and interview and puts forward the modeof DK company EAP scheme. The thesis provides reference matrials about stress management and enriches theoretical research on implementation of EAP localization.The thesis uses employee occupational health psychology questionare to studyemployees work stress and physical/mental health. As the results indicate, employeesare under much stress, mainly from work stress, interpersonal relationship andorganization limitations. The condition of employee’s work stress and physical/mental health is far from being satifactory, with obivious stress reaction, such asfatigue, anxiety, interpersonal relations and high potential to quit job, which badlyinfluence employees’ physical/mental health and work performance. Besides,employees have strong will to accept EAP services. They tend to individualdevelopment pland and personal professional consulting on EAP service content. Andmost of them tend to choose agency service and training on EAP service approaches.Based on EAP research achievement in foreign and domestic companies, inaccordance with results of employee occupational health psychology questionare, thethesis sets up DK Company EAP expected goals and specifies EAP schemes whichinclude training and exercises of stress&stress management, career development andinterpersonal communication. The thesis also put forward guarantee mechanism ofEAP implementation, including implementation principles, import procedures,implementation process and organization&culture guarantee.
