In recent years, with the development of word economy, the external competition increase, especially after the financial crisis. Job stress has reached an unprecedented level for occupation staff. Aseries of personal physical, psychological, and behavioral consequences come from job stress are cause serious consequences, As a result, employee assistance programs as an effective way to relieve job stress, cause the attention of the researchers. This study will be divided into thress stages:First stage, this stage covered the literature review and the construction of the supposed model.Second stage, this stage covered the interviews which were aimed to design the questionnaire of EAP.Third stage, this stage included a questionnaire survey and consequent statistic analysis. Atotal of 214 questionnaires were used in the data analysis.The main findings concluded in this study were as follows:1. The two dimensions of job stress had different effects mechanism to task performance and job satisfaction. A high level of extrinsic stress shows a negative correlation with task performance and job satisfaction.2. Job involvement had kids of mediated impact on the relationship between job stress and task performance, as well as the relationship between job satisfaction. The extrinsic stress could totally mediated the relationship between job stress and task performance, as well as the relationship between job satisfaction.3. EAP could moderate the relationship between job stress and job involvement. The high level of EAP showed, the more obviously those negative relationships could be moderated.when EAP level was higher, job stress would not reduce job involvement so dramatically as when EAP level was lower.In this paper, a model was constructed to explain how job stress influenced employees' involvement, task performance and their job satisfaction, employee assistance programs were also included, and the relationships of these factors were analyzed in detail after research conducted, with an aim to provide several suggestions for enterprises' managers practice to cope with the excessive job stress of the staff.
