Recent years, global resources and environmental crises have frequently occurred, making people taken more and more attention to save resources and protect environment. In the context of low carbon economy has began to become the mainstream of the world’s economic development mode, China can no longer be at the expense of the environment to obtain economic development by leaps and bounds. As one of high energy consumption and high pollution industries, China’s housing industry must take the road of sustainable development, So China must imminently develop green dwelling. So far, the green dwelling has been made a great deal of research at home and abroad. But most of these studies are mostly qualitative analysis around the green dwelling environment assessment, but it is rarely comprehensive study on the economic, social, and environmental benefits of green dwelling. Under the background of market economy which pursuits maximizing profit, the economic factor is the key to the promotion of green dwelling. Under the traditional cost-benefit evaluation system, and due to the influence of uncertainty factors such as the unclear policy guidance, technical level of underdevelopment market information asymmetry and risk element, green dwelling with higher initial investment is not settled on by developers.
