The Research Of The Exploration Of The Tibetan Folklore Tourism In Jiuzhai Valley

With the enhancement of culture quality of the tourists, cultural tourism takes place as a new trend of tourism. Tibetan ethnic tourism is receiving more and more attention from the government of minority areas. The combination of full-bodied Tibetan flavor and the drive of economic benefits boost the policy, which offers a vigorous way for the development of economy and the spread of culture.Tibetan ethnic tourism, a significant part of cultural tourism, which targeted a high-level exotic cultural tourism, features distinct Tibetan ethnic character, vivid Tibetan cultural atmosphere, unique Tibetan cultural connotation, remarkable Tibetan scenery and colorful Tibetan customs, has great appeal for the tourists home and aboard and is very popular among the tourism circle and the tourists.Based on the development of tourism resources in hand, Tibetan ethic tourism resources development is a systematical process of investigation into the whole of Tibetan culture. It requires exploration and collection of the essence of Tibetan culture in Jiuzhai Valley in accordance with the tourists’requirements towards the tourism objects and then materializes and externalizes the spirit, thus turning the strength of Tibetan culture into the advantages of Tibetan tourism products, services and economic circumstance. That will heighten the attraction of the areas, expand their sphere of influence, thereby benefits the economy, society and environment of the areas.This paper mainly adopts four kinds of research methods----;iterature review method, system research, case study and on-the-spot investigation----to study on development of Tibetan ethnic tourism resources in Jiuzhai valley. In addition to the study of the theoretical bases like notion, characteristics, type of tourism resources, mode of development and procedure of development of Tibetan ethnic tourism, we employ questionnaires and on-the-spot investigation method to make a thorough inquiry of Tibetan ethnic tourism resources in hand which is concluded to13kinds of different kinds of resources. We then analyze the current situation and the existing problems, and put forward our proposal on choosing the mode of development of Tibetan ethnic tourism resources and improving Tibetan Ecological Museum of Jiuzhai Valley along with some measures in protecting Tibetan culture in the area.There are several innovations in the paper as follows:Firstly, in this article, we choose wedding and funeral customs, literature, painting, naming art and guest entertainment etiquette etc. in Jiuzhai Valley as development objects for cultural tourism mainly focus on ethnic clothing, architecture, food, customs and religion.Secondly, Jiuzhai Valley as our research site, is a noteworthy area when considering Tibetan ethnic tourism. As Jiuzhai Valley tourism is natural landscape centered, development of Tibetan culture resources is to some extent ignored, resulting in the loss of Tibetan culture in Jiuzhai Valley. Thus, how to protect Tibetan culture in Jiuzhai valley by means of developing Tibetan ethnic tourism resources is of certain practical importance.Thirdly, as we retrieve a mass of relative literatures, we find that research of development of Tibetan ethnic tourism resources of a specific small area is rarely done as is always covered in the research of a larger area as province or city. Thus this paper chooses Jiuzhai Valley valley as research site is pioneering in a new direction.Lastly, when we try to analyze the current situation on the basis of our work in resources exploration, we adopt questionnaires to get direct information from residents and administrators. The questions focus on Tibetan culture protection, for example,"what about administrators" awareness of Tibetan culture protection?","whether children are encouraged and taught in following Tibetan’s religion, or learning Tibetan language and dances, etc.?","what is residents’attitude toward cultural integration?","can you accept interracial marriage?" etc. Depending on the results we conclude and analyze the status quo and present proposal for Tibetan culture protection.
