Newly-established international enterprise (NEIE) became a new phenomenon in the western world at the end of1980s.So is China in1990s.It drew great attraction in academics and formed the spotlight in international business study, opening a fresh door in this field.Contrary to traditional enterprises, NEIEs own a strategic attitude globally at the very beginning of its establishment. They take a internationalized policy tightly to its growth and development to compete actively with long-existed matured multinational corporations. In this case, this phenomenon poses challenges to the once-popular international theories on the scale and advantageous premise during the process of corporate internalization. As what we have studied tells, NEIEs play an increasingly important role in international stage, as well as an active component in global economy. However, domestic study reflecting upon this field had just started, while foreign researches did dating back to80s over the last century. As a result, there’s room for us to further initiate and enrich the theoretical extension and empirical study up a notch relating to this phenomenon.NEIEs have its own particular perspective in behavioral feature and thinking mode. It includes a totally different characteristics, internationalization path and growth mode, which identifies itself rather than a shadow of traditional international giant. This paper mainly explains two interconnected and progressive core questions as follows:Firstly, the foundation mechanism of NEIEs, which factors urged NEIEs walked up to internationalization at the very beginning of its establishment; Secondly, the growth and development mechanism of NEIEs,how do these factors help accumulating operation advantage among internationalization as a crucial means.Focused on these two core issues, begin with analyzing theoretically the basic characters of NEIE in order to expose the shortcomings in traditional internationalization theory and explore the development of NEIEs’theory. Then analyze theoretically the impact on corporate internationalization of each factor on the static state. Following a analysis framework for spotting the factors behind the foundation and growth of NEIE. Lastly, using the theoretical analysis framework forth upon as above, empirically analyze those factors’impact on dynamic working mechanism. After a series of theoretical and empirical study, some innovation and contribution are put into reality like:First of all, traditional internationalization theory generally ignores the entrepreneurs’effect from a macro or micro level in analyzing. Obviously, it contains a problem of lacking entrepreneur factor. While this paper empirically emphasizes a sort of driving force--experiences and added--knowledge acquired by entrepreneurs and high-level management team including their working mechanism. In the second place, a detailed analysis is attached to the growth theory of NEIE. To date, some works discover the growth factors from several theories’ standpoint. But most of them take a static method rather than a dynamic one. What’s more, the combination of theoretical and empirical study is in charge of the whole paper. Given the fact that already-done studies focus more on internal and external driving force and typical cases statically, the empirical study is hardly found right now.Last but not least, a multi-theory studying method is applied to the theories’ framework building. As far as I’m concerned, little literature inspect corporates’ different growth phrases and hierarchical dynamics to analyze comprehensively the establishment and growth process of NEIE. That’s why this paper takes a multi-theory perspective’cross to build theoretically analysis framework.
