The Z province Electric Power Corporation is a state-owned monopoly. Since the reforming and opening up in1978, the employment model has changed for many times. On one hand, the relationship between the corporation and their staff has changed to a contract regulation relationship from a kind of administrative relationship. On the other hand, the employment model changed from traditional single labor to various of employment model coexist, which are long term contract worker, short term contract worker, collective worker, Dispatch services and Farming electrician. Each phase of the employment model played an important role in the company development under its specific historical background. With the reform deepening and fierce competition, the current model shows several disadvantages.This paper elaborates the current situation and development history of employment model of Z province electric power corporation, using the related theory and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of present employment model. And through the investigation and research, interview the staff of human recourse management and find the focus of the problem. In order to put forward the optimization approach, including take use of business outsourcing, widen the passageway of occupation promotion, establish competitive mechanism of survival of the fittest and so on. Discuss how to make full use of the E-HR, and design the compensation system. To avoid the risk of equal pay for equal work, And to build a better platform for excellent talents, allocate the human resource reasonable, improve the efficiency, to result in promoting the development of the enterprise.
