According to the dynamic capabilities view, in today’s rapidly changing marketenvironment, the dynamic capabilities is an important source of competitive advantage, whichis quite different from the resource base view and core competencies. It means that enterprisesneed to improve, update and reconstruct the internal and external resource and capabilitiescontinuously in order to adapt to the changes in the external environment. This study bases onthe Teece’s dynamic capabilities framework and expand it into more content. This studydetermines the measuring dimensions of sensing opportunities and threats, seizingopportunities and managing reconfiguration through theoretical analysis, literature researchand qualitative research. It also proposed three factors that affect the dynamic capabilities todrive enterprise growth. The three factors are organizational modularity, intellectual capitaland knowledge resource. This study sets manufacturing enterprises as research target.195samples are collectedby using questionnaire as data collection tool. The empirical result shows that the dynamiccapabilities have a positive influence on enterprise growth performance after the empiricalstudy of these samples by factor analyses, multiple regression analysis and structural equationmodels. This study found that organizational modularity can be seen as the structural basisand the knowledge resource can be seen as the cognitive basis. These two factors with theintellectual capital’s positive effect form the dynamic capabilities of enterprises. These threefactors have indirectly positive impact on the enterprise growth performance with theintermediary role of dynamic capabilities. That means the organizational modularity, intellectual capital and knowledge resource are the factors which affect the dynamiccapabilities to drive enterprise growth.
