International Industrial Transfer In A Clustering Way, Export-oriented Production Linkage And Local Economic Development

International industrial transfer in a clustering way is the objectiveresult of international industrial transfer. It describes such a phenomenon:With the growing deepening of globalization and of the system ofinternational division of industry, international industrial transfer isincreasingly performing in a clustering way. That is to say, enterprises ofthe same industrial chains or enterprises having industrial connections,one part of the whole of them will choose to act together in the process ofinternational industrial transfer, thus forming a cluster in the host country.Industrial clusters will set up headquarters or affiliated companies todrive a part of supporting enterprises and suppliers concerned to transferin the same direction. After landing on the host country, they will attract alot of middle of small enterprises in the host country concerned to clusteraround them and provide them with products and service, so that localsupporting enterprises will better develop and further promote thedevelopment of local economy.Firstly, this paper combs relative theoretical literatures. On the basisof that, it gives a theoretical analysis on the relationships among thosethree: international industrial transfer in a clustering way, export-orientedproduction linkage and local economic development. This paper thendescribes the current status of international industrial transfer in a clustering way and export-oriented production linkage, and concludeswith two characteristics of international industrial transfer. One is that thecoming of leading enterprises will always bring a lot of supportingenterprises. The other is the realization of supporting localization. On thebasis of that, this paper performs an empirical study of the relationshipsamong these three parties, and finds that the positive promotion to localeconomy happens through the intermediate mechanism of industrialsupports. At last, we put forward relative policies and suggestionsdirected against this conclusion.
