A Study On "We Media" Under The Impacts Of Internet

Every key technological breakthrough in human history and every new reform intechnological structure will always lead to changes and reconstructions in people’slifestyles or even in the basic social structure. Furthermore, it will also broaden ourhorizons and bring forth new life experience.As a new form of media,“We Media” was born in modern science and technology,and it has reflected the development and renovations of people’s scientific thoughts.“We Media” has caused the inevitable reconstructions of traditional media and mediatheories, which has thus brought forward complicated transforms in the propagationmodes of culture and ecological civilization in society.Traditional media, with a history of nearly one hundred years, has accumulatedsocial and cultural powers due to its impacts for decades. In the times of Web2.0, it isnow shown by the means of “We Media”, which has given us a research subject worthof analyzing in depth. As a culture propagation mode based on technology, although“We Media” has adopted the form of science and technology, its powers and impactsassociate with the field of Philosophy of Science and Technology to a greater extent.Based on some correlated arguments about “science and technology&society” inPhilosophy of Science and Technology, this paper analyzes the development of Internetand emergence of “We Media”, the concept, types and the developing trends of “WeMedia”, and the propagation impacts of “We Media” in the development of Internet.This paper has also demonstrated the impacts of Internet on media and its profoundsignificance in the future development of “We Media”. Meanwhile, this paper has alsoanalyzed the contradictions brought forth by “We Media”, which aims to put forwardhealthy construction means and to provide intellectual support and rational analysis forthe development of “We Media” in Internet Era.This paper can be divided into four chapters:Chapter One: This part introduces the background information and significance ofthe research subject, and it also provides a brief comment on the current research situation.Chapter Two: This part describes the development of Internet and the emergenceof “We Media”. It introduces commence and transforms of Internet and the developingprocess of media. It aims to show and explain the correlations between the developmentof Internet and the emergence of “We Media”.Chapter Three: This part studies the corresponding concepts of “We media”,including the definitions from both home and abroad and the types of “We Media”.Through the comparison with the mass media, this part puts a focus on the propagationattributes of “We Media”.Chapter Four: This part lays an emphasis on the propagation impacts of “WeMedia” in China under the condition of Internet. This chapter analyzes the currentsituations and its corresponding causes of “We Media” in China from three aspects-users’ number, consuming habits and propagation effects. It then analyzes the currentsituations of domestic media under the influence of “We Media”. Through the analysisof the current situations and developing trends of both “We Media” and traditionalmedia, the author of this paper has made an attempt to provide a reliable scientific andtechnological platform for media in China under the condition of Internet, and thus toconstruct harmonious and effective propagation ecology.
