| After more than30years of reform and opening-up policy was put into practice,agricultural industrialization has made a great success, and the living standards offarmers has been greatly improved. At the same time, due to the increase ofagricultural products year after year, the balance of the supply and need was made,sometimes, even emerged an oversupply, which brought some new problems to thedevelopment of rural economy, such as the emergence of unsalable agriculturalproducts, the decline of agricultural prices, the slow growth of farmers’ income. So inthe new era, the traditional agricultural management has to modernized, and somestrategic adjustments have to made to fit to the structure of agricultural production, inorder to improve the capacity and competitiveness of agricultural productioncomprehensively.National agriculture take Shandong province for example, Shandong agriculturetake Weifang for example. As a pioneer in the implementation of the industrialmanagement of agriculture area, the level of agricultural development in Weifang citywas in Chinese leading position. According to the survey results, the industrialmanagement of agriculture in Weifang city has made a great improvement to the localrural economic development, and effectively drove the steady growth of the localfarmers’ income. The per capita net income increased from972yuan in1992to8878yuan in2010. Thus, to select Weifang as an instance was representative. In recentyears, the whole country farmers’ income growth momentum tends to slow, and howto improve the farmers’ income is the key point in the procession of the solution torural issues. However, there are many reasons that affect the growth of farmers’income, as a result, the solution ways to the increase of farmers’ income are various,such as policy support, price subsidies of agricultural products, adjustment of agricultural structure. But in the long run, increasing agricultural science andtechnology, improving the technology content of agricultural productscomprehensively, and changing the traditional agricultural production methods are thefundamental ways to realize the agricultural modernization and to improve thefarmers’ income. Weifang city, as the pioneer of the industrialization of agriculturearea, is one of the most advanced agriculture areas in China. Taking Weifang forinstance, to survey the current business model of the industrialization of agricultureand the impact to farmers’ income, which have great significance for the other regionsof China to develop rural economy and to increase farmers’ income.On the basis of a lot if materials and data about the industrial management ofagriculture and farmers’ income, by conducting an in-depth field research to collectdetailed statistics and survey results, this paper makes quantitative research andqualitative analysis to the impact of industrialized operation of agriculture to farmers’income. First of all, this article started from the status quo of Weifang farmers’ income,income sources and the transfer of rural surplus labor force to address the change oflocal farmers’ income since the implementation of industrial management ofagriculture, thus proved the mutual relations from the actual situation. Secondly, thispaper proved the correlation between the various aspects during the industrializedoperation of agriculture or the leading enterprises and farmers’ income from anempirical point of view. Thirdly, it analyzed the constraints on industrialization ofagriculture to farmers’ income and its causes, putting forward correspondingcountermeasures and suggestions. Finally, it summarized the successful experience ofthe impact from the development of agricultural industrialization operation inWeifang city to the farmers’ income, and concluded referent suggestions to otherareas’ development of agricultural industrialization operation. This paper attempted toexplore the significant contributions to farmers’ income by the industrialization ofagriculture, and other solution manners to raise farmers’ income. |
