Research On Shanghai Container Port In Horizontal And Vertical Cooperative Game Strategies

With the backdrop of global economic integration, Container ports competition isintensifying, East Asian ports compete for the status of international hub port, andYangtze River Delta ports compete for resources of the hinterland. In order to becomean international shipping center in true sense of the new century, Shanghai Port muststrengthen horizontal cooperation with other ports in East Asia and Yangtze RiverDelta port gorups, as well as vertical cooperation with shippers, shipping companiesand other enterprises. This paper has an important social significance and practicalvalue for Shanghai Port to Actively build up its own core competitiveness, and forEast Asian port group, Yangtze River Delta port cluster and the port supply chain as awhole to promote the harmonious development.Shanghai container port as a research object, under the guidance of cooperativegame theory and supply chain theory, the paper analysises port competitiveness andcooperation in East Asia, the Yangtze River Delta port cluster and Shanghai Portcontainer supply chain, clears the meaning of port supply chain and creation process;explores the port create value in the horizontal, vertical alliance metrics, respectively;builds utility functions and objective functions in horizontal and vertical cooperativegame model of the container port; and uses shapley value method to calculatedistribution benefits in the horizontal alliance cooperation alliance of East Asiarepresentative ports, Yangtze River Delta port cluster and vertical cooperation allianceof all enterprises in the Shanghai container port supply chain, providingcorresponding conclusions. Finally, the paper points out some problems that needdraw attention in the port horizontal and vertical cooperation, provides a number of effective cooperation strategies, in particular uses improved core to establish thepayments system in port coordination alliance, which improves the weekness ofgeneral core,and lays foundation for future research.This paper tries to analysis thecooperative game situation of Shanghai container port comprehensively and realisticly,and provides useful recommendations for Shanghai Port to seek better cooperation infuture fierce competition.
