“People regard food as their prime want.”Food safety is related to everyconsumer. In recent years, a series of food safety incidents have made the foodenterprises encounter the serious trust crisis. The causes of these problems lie in thelack of corporate social responsibility. The main purpose of research on the corporatesocial responsibilities of the food enterprises is fundamentally to find reasons for themissing of the corporate social responsibilities of the food enterprises, to establish aneffective evaluation system of corporate social responsibility and to promotecorporate social responsibility management in the food enterprises. So for studies offood enterprises social responsibility standards and evaluation have a wealth ofpractical significance.The research will be based on the macroeconomic society’s demands of corporatesocial responsibility and micro food enterprises’ social specific circumstance anddevelopment trend. On the basis of the basic principle, the macro analysis and microanalysis, theory analysis and empirical analysis methods are used. Through theanalysis of the problems which China’s food enterprises social responsibilityencounters and the reasons of the lack of corporate social responsibility, we come toa conclusion that the short of food enterprise society responsibility is the prime causewhich comes from the market mechanism and government function.Corporate social responsibility standard is an important basis to promoteenterprise social responsibility management. This study found that, China has notformed a complete food standard system of Corporate society responsibility, in theabsence of the effective government guidance and business management experienceof the premise, it is a huge risk for enterprises and individual to choose the standard ofenterprise society responsibility, and there are many drawbacks with the existing foodenterprise society responsibility standard system. In this paper, in reference todomestic and foreign food enterprises social responsibility standard system as thefoundation, it proposed society responsibility standard system of food of enterprisesreform conception.The system is divided into three grade index, dominating qualitative index and quantitative index, financial index and non-financial index, from shareholders,employees, managers, creditors, suppliers, competitors, consumers, government,environment, harmonious society10angle to evaluate food corporate socialresponsibility performance, and with Lee Kum Kee as example, puts forward theenterprise society responsibility standard and evaluation system suitable for thediagnosis.
