Research On The High-Tech Industry Competitiveness Of Sichuan Province

Nowadays, the strength of the high-tech industry competitiveness has become an important indicator to measure the strength of a country’s comprehensive international competitiveness, The world’s major countrys regard the high-tech industry as a strategic industry of the twenty-first century, Having built high-tech industry park to increase the allocation of resources, and provide preferential policies. Meanwhile, with China’s increasingly close participate in international competition, many domestic provinces and cities will develop high-tech industry as an important strategic task, Sichuan Province, from2006onwards, according to their own resources to develop a high-tech industrial development strategy,"Dos and Don’ts",But all these years, How about the development of high-tech industries in Sichuan Province, what aspects should be focused in the future development, With these questions, researching the competitive level of high-tech industries in Sichuan Province, to find strengths and weaknesses of their own, so that the advantages continue to carry forward and take the effort to make up the weaknesses.This paper consists of six main parts. The first chapter introduces the research background of this paper, the significance of research and writing ideas, the thesis of innovation and this chapter is the overview section of the paper. The second chapter describes the meaning of the high-tech industries, which defines the range of high-tech industries studied in this paper; analyze the characteristics of high-tech industries; reviewed the theoretical basis of the high-tech industry competitiveness. Based on the established high-tech industry competitiveness evaluation index system by previous scholars, combined with the characteristics of high-tech industries, Chapter III build high-tech industry competitiveness evaluation index system and evaluation method, And high-tech industries, risk tolerance is introduced into the evaluation index system. The fourth chapter analyze current situation of the high-tech industries in sichuan province beginning with two aspects; then use factor analysis to quantitative analysis, this chapter is the main part of this article. According to the results of the factor analysis,high-tech industry overall competitiveness is in the medium level, Only the innovation potential factor rank ahead, the scale factor, market factor, as well as production factor lag behind. The fifth chapter analyzes the reasons that affect the competitive strength of high-tech industries in Sichuan Province. The sixth chapter focus on how to enhance the competitive strength of high-tech industries in Sichuan Province, the main policy consist of expanding the industrial scale and strengthening technological innovation, improving the rate of technology transfer and doing strong the enterprises.Through the study of this paper, the Sichuan Provincial Government, the High-Tech Industrial Park, the high-tech enterprises has a clear and intuitive understanding to the province’s competitive position, and find their own advantages and disadvantages, the advantages continue to carry forward,and abandon the disadvantage, so as to promote the province’s high-tech industries sustained、rapid and healthy development.
