The Study On Competitiveness Of High-tech Industry In Tianjin Province

High-tech industry plays an important role in knowledge-based economy in this fast-paced society. Lots of countries have paid attention to this industry, so has China with its promoting economic level. In which Tianjin has taken a stride on High-tech industry, Bohai economy area works as an engine of North China’s economy. The thesis comes up with policies about High-tech development in Tianjin through studies on High-tech industry of the city.The thesis is divided into four parts. Basing on literatures about High-tech, High-tech industry and industry competency, the first part forms the frame of the evaluation system of High-tech industry.The second part is the analysis of status of High-tech industry in Tianjin. The analysis is made from five aspects including management status, innovation, cost, manufacture, policies of High-tech industry.Judging from High-tech industry competency, the third part focuses on comparison between Tianjin with other cities, such as Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning, Shanxi, Shandong and Inner Mongolia from 2010-2014. Then the part makes a conclusion on Tianjin’s High-tech status by adopting factor analysis.The last part is suggestion on High-tech industry competency in Tianjin. The suggestion consist of more boosting investment, more sophisticating innovation, more talents, more advancing international trade policies and more creative corporation between Tianjin and Beijing.
