Special equipment is the equipment which is related to safety of life and dangerous including elevators, cranes, pressure vessels, pressure piping, boilers, passenger rope ways and large amusement facilities. Shandong Jinzhi Special Equipment Management Information System (SJSE MIS) uses information means to make Shandong Province special equipment supervision and inspection for more scientific and effective. In order to evaluate the construction and application effect of SJSE MIS, promote its further development, this paper establishes a scientific and reasonable comprehensive evaluation method.After full investigation and comprehensively analysis on SJSE MIS, referencing the domestic and international researches about information systems evaluation, combining the characteristics of this information system, the paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation system for it. This evaluation system includes four aspects:system performance, system environment, system application and system benefits. After analyze the existing evaluation methods, the paper selects analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, and constructs a comprehensive evaluation model for SJSE MIS. First, using AHP to determine the weight of each index; second, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to evaluate the various evaluation indexes; finally, calculating the evaluation results of SJSE MIS. According to analyze the results of comprehensive evaluation and some problems in the information system, proposes some suggestion for managers.This paper provides some useful ideas for evaluating SJSE MIS. It has positive meaning to promote its further development.
