Study On Equipment Bid Evaluation System Of AP Company

Owing to the globalization of economics and science & technology, chemical engineering industry has been growing rapidly in our country in the past 15 years, and tendering and bidding system has been widely used in equipment purchasing of chemical projects. Equipment purchasing is essential for chemical construction projects, however, some problems such as imperfect bid evaluation procedure and unreasonable bid evaluation system in equipment bid evaluation of AP company, which will directly impact the quality, the progress and the cost of the project, even will lead to the project failure finally. Meantime, more fierce competition exists in domestic chemical engineering industry. Therefore, it becomes a pressing issue, to a certain extent, to study equipment bid evaluation system of AP company.Firstly, the paper was based on theories of tendering and bidding, the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method, etc. It took AP company as an object of study, to establish an equipment bid evaluation system and bid evaluation model based on the AHP method by taking agitator purchasing of one chemical project of the company as an example. Secondly, we did calculation analysis regarding weights of factors and related consistency test by using the established equipment bid evaluation model. Finally, comprehensive score was given by bid evaluation squad by using Delphi method, and final combination weights for each bidders were calculated in order to select the best equipment bidder.The study in this paper solved some specific problems in equipment bid evaluation of AP company, so as to enhance the purchasing competitiveness of the company remarkably. Meantime, it also can be used as an valuable reference in equipment bid evaluation for other companies in the same industry.
