Export Trade Structure Evolution And Optimization Of Zhejiang Manufacturing Industry

Since Implemented the strategy of " going global ",Zhejiang’s foreign trade has increased rapidly. However,the rapid growth in the export trade, there are many problems about the structure of exports trade in Zhejiang. At present, Zhejiang is in the critical period of economic restructuring and industrial restructuring. How to adjust and optimize the structure of export trade, further expand the scope of foreign trade scale and market, it is major tasks of foreign trade and sustainable economic development in Zhejiang.This article analyzes the development process and problems of export trade structure in Zhejiang’s manufacturing Industry from1997to2008. The conclusions of the study show that:(1)Export market structure is diversified Increasingly. Export market is mainly in several major countries of Asia, Europe and North America, But the promblems of export market concentration and structure imbalance are still prominent.(2) Export body structure has become more reasonable. State-owned enterprises, foreign funded enterprises, private enterprises and collective enterprises jointly explored the international market structure, However, the scale effect of export enterprises is not obvious.(3) Manufacturing Industry in the trade is mainly in general trade,processing trade is supplemented. The development space of general trade is limited.(4)export commodities structure is becoming more rational, the share of manufactured goods in export commodities has reached more than90%, machinery and electronic products and industrial products in the export share of high-tech products is rising. But,the labor-intensive manufactured goods to products with relatively advantage and competitiveness of products are mainly primary products and labor-intensive products,the mix of export commodities in the international division of labor in low status,low technical content products,low added value. Finally, based on the above analysis, from four aspects (the structure of export commodities, structure of export market, structure of exports body and so on), the author suggests diferent advices on ordaining export trade strategy and regulation of export commodity composition.
