Established in1993, Kingdee Software International Group which started itsbusiness from financial software to professional enterprise management software, hasbeen founded for nearly19years.It has experienced a high-growth period as well aslow growth in the software industry in China. Kingdee faced a bottleneck since2005.Meanwhile the whole enterprise management software industry seemed to becaught in a collective sense of crisis: the fierce competition, the increasingly fierceprice war, unable to obtain higher profit by one single software product sales,competition with international giant like SAP, Oracle in the high-end software market,and the appearance of IT consulting services as the blue sea of the market. In2008April Kingdee developed its service transformation strategy, and transferred to theservice industry as the lever of consulting service.This article of long-term favourable conditions of work in Kingdee SoftwareInternational Group, from the perspective of strategic management in depth resrarchand analyzed the service transformation strategy of Kingdee. First of all, it expoundedthe research background, purpose, significance and its content. Secondly, it focus onstudying service transformation strategy and analyzing the current situation ofmanagement software industry, elaborating strategic management, corporatecompetitive advantage and strategic transformation, as well as the change of Kingdeestrategic transformation and its value chain.Thirdly, it did an in-depth research andanalyzed the concrete case of Kingdee and stated the the background, process and thestrategic methods of the transformation; Last but not least, it found out the greatsignificance and impact of Kingdee service transformation, together with its futureends and the enlightenment of the transformation.
