| Regional economic space structure refers to the combination of a variety of theform of the spatial economic activity within a certain geographical area, and itsmanifested spatial differentiation, interaction and spatial connection, which is animportant aspect of the regional economic development. Meanwhile, the economicspace structure is in the process of change and development, which reveals theevolution characteristics and main problems of regional economic space structure. Itis of great significance for optimizing the economic space pattern and achieving abalanced and healthy development of economy and society.Hanchangchang area is the essential zone as a juncture of Hubei, Hunan andJiangxi Province, which is in a core area of the Yangtze River. Under the greatbackground of the rising of central China and the enhancing development trend ofmany regional economic growth poles, this paper mainly studied the problem ofeconomic space structure in the “Hanchangchang”area that as the new regionaleconomic growth pole, which is necessary to promote the optimization of regionaldevelopment and the rising of the whole cental China.This paper applies the relation theories of regional economics, mathematicalmodel analysis method, and the methods of ArcGIS、GeoDA space statistics and takesthe “Hanchangchang”area as the research object and its24cities as research units toanalyse the evolution characteristics of the regional economic space structure and theregional economic relation, reveal the characteristics and the main problems of theregional economic development, and put forward the countermeasures of integratedoptimization of regional economic space.The main conclusions in this paper are:(1) the population and economic gravitycenter in the Hanchangchang area exist more significant space deviation during1995-2010,the resluts show: the population gravity center shows the trend ofeastward movement slowly and steadily; the deviation of economic gravity centerchanges larger,that wholely shows the trend of southeastward movement.(2)From theperspective of the level of economic development, spatial agglomeration, economicgrowth and economic structure, Based on a visualized and quantitative methodanalysis show that: the economic gathering center in Hanchangchang area and fasteconomic growth rate cities scattered in several capital cities of Wuhan, Changsha, Nanchang and few of neighboring cities, but the influence of radiation is weak inthe surrounding area.(3) Through the measure method of the Theil index anddecomposition,this paper found the disparity of this area has the trend to becomelager.and the main resource of the disparity of this area is the inernal diaparity of thethree urban agglomerations,which the Wuhan urban agglomeration has greatestcontribution.(4)The global Moran’s I indexs were minus,that mean the spatialdependence relation is poor. According to the Local Moran’s I and the level ofeconomic development, the types of the area were divided into diffusion effects area,polarization-development, low-growth-development, and transition-development.(5)the strength of regional economic linkage is not high, the quantity of every city’seconomic linkage is small with the cities in other urban agglomeration, but it has greatinfluence on the interior region; The intensity of the economic linkage is significantdifferent among different urban agglomerations, which is of the unbalanced spacedistribution; Wuhan,Changsha,Nanchang as the central cities only have economic tieswith neighbouring cities, that is according with the law of distance declining, andpoint to the neighbouring city.(6)Based on the analysis of the problems of the regionaleconomic space structure in this area, this thesis proposes the countermeasures ofintegrated optimization of regional economic space such as intergrate the three urbanagglomerations,cultivate multilevel core economic zone,enhance the funcions ofaggregation and radiation,and deepen the economic development of the areas that arealong the transport line. |
