Undergoing profound changes in the global economic situation today,customers demand presents rising, the growing trend of diversification,domestic auto parts manufacturing enterprises are facing increasingly fiercecompetitive pressures. Lean Six Sigma as a state-of-the-art modernmanagement mode, more and more auto parts manufacturing companyreferences and practice, in order to improve quality, reduce costs, shortenlead times, and to establish a leading position in the core competitiveness.This paper choose domestic auto parts manufacturing company, Company Xfor the study, to explore the small and medium-sized auto partsmanufacturing companies use Lean Six Sigma methods to the discovery andimplementation of methods and ideas to solve practical productionmanagement problems.The paper reviews the history of the development of the theory of LeanSix Sigma, core elements and tools. Analyze how to learn current status ofenterprise with Lean Six Sigma Maturity Assessment and VSM. Company Xusing Lean Six Sigma methods to solve business capacity planning,production line layout to optimize and balance the takt problems, a detailed discussion of the use of Lean Six Sigma tools. Finally the paper concludedachievements and lessons learned from Lean Six Sigma implementation inCompany X, which can be a reference for domestic manufacturingenterprises.
