The Development Research Of Export Trade Under Intellectual Property Strategy

Intellectual property strategy can effectively protect the invention, encourage innovationand improve countries’ core competitiveness. So it gradually becomes the focus of thecountries around the world. Any country wins the intellectual property can control theinternational market and trade. Trade products have the intellectual property content furtherpromote their value and additional value, and bring excess foreign trade profit to the exportcountry. To further discuss the function of intellectual property in the foreign trade, based onThe17th Party Congress, the article comprehensively analyzed the influence of theintellectual property to a country’s export when intellectual property was put under thestrategic level.First, the article combined the theory of property rights economics with internationaltrade, built a new analysis frame of intellectual property strategy theory.Then based on the externality theory and transaction cost theory of property rightseconomics, combined with the theory of product life cycle, comparative advantages andcompetitive advantage of international trade theory. Further analyzed the mechanism that theintellectual property worked on the foreign trade, and expounded the rationality ofimplementing intellectual property strategy in the export trade.Further, based on theory analysis, combined with intellectual property implementationbackground and present situation of foreign trade, the article chose total volume of exporttrade and single volume of different processing level to build four models. The models wereto prove the influence of patent application total volume to our country’s export of primaryproducts, industrial manufactured products and high technology products.At last, based on the qualitative and quantitative analysis, the article gave advice fromstate, industry, enterprise on promoting export intellectual property strategy for workablethought to the further development of export trade.
