Research Of Assistance To Ghana Highway Renovation&Expansion Project Management

Based on the project management theory, the paper proposes a main line of project management by four stages of the project life cycle after researching and analysing the current situation of highway project management at home and abroad, and there are project management elements run through the life cycle, it views each element as an organic whole, analysing of the impact of each element of the project and proposing appropriate solutions. Take control of process, cost and quality of the implement of project according to the project management control theory.The main work of this paper is as follows:The paper takes the assistance of highway expansion project in Ghana for example, and analyzes the management environment, such as the background of the project, the natural environment of Ghana, political and economic environment and so on. Project is divided into initiation, planning, the implementation and monitoring of project and ending according to the project cycle theory. It mainly describes the starting of organizations at home and abroad, technology of construction, and the starting of materials in the initiation phase. In the phase of planning mainly devides the scope of work of the project, giving the breakdown structure of work, the schedule plan, cost plan and quality plan of the project. In the phase of the implementation and monitoring of project mainly introduces the construction features of the project, the difficulity and its key to the project and the implementation and monitoring of the schedule.cost and quality of the project. In the phase of ending mainly does the work of checking and assessing of the project.The paper analyzes the management style and characteristics of the assistance of highway expansion project in Ghana with the management and implement of this project, then does discussion and analysis in-depth for assistance foreign projects. In the construction of assistance foreign projects, How a company make preliminary preparation, and draw up a detailed work plan according to the actual situation, coordinating relationship between company and recipient country government. How a company achieve harmonization in elements such as process, cost and quality with using of available resources rationally. Protect the interests of the company and maintain the international image of Chinese enterprises. Have actural reference value and guiding significance in the implement of assistance foreign projects to Chinese enterprises.
