The thought of this paper mainly come from the management activities of GL campanyin this year, and the human resource management promotion is the important part of theactivities. As a human resource management staff, deep feeling in the human resourcesmanagement to improve the work of management concept of occupation, with overall humanresource management job overall situation, in order to competency model such as the way ofimproving occupation, can be a very good solution to GL company in human resourcesmanagement work in problem.The Professionalization is a state of work standardization, namely, at the right time, theright place, in the right way, say the right words, do the right thing, so that employees in theknowledge, skill, idea, thinking, attitudes and psychological with occupation standard, themain occupation of occupation behavior norms, including occupation skill and occupationattainment in three parts. Occupation is a business management of the ideal state, anyoutstanding enterprises have taken any outstanding management not to reach such a state, soput forward how to reach such a state problem. In this paper, the author discusses what isoccupation, as well as the domestic and foreign occupation management’s present situation,put forward to build the competency model for occupation of state.Constructing the competency model will be from what is the competency of.Competency refers to " can be a work (or organization) has outstanding achievements andperformance of flat light distinguishes individual in-depth feature, he can be motivated, trait,self image, attitude or values, a domain knowledge, cognitive or behavioral skills, i.e.anything that can be reliably measured or counted and can obviously distinguish betweenoutstanding and general performance of individual character "(Spencer,1993). Therefore,the competency model of the construction process is the abstract and generalize theorganization of different positions of the competency requirements, distinguish the excellentstaff and the general staff of the differences in these areas, and then through a variety oftechnical means to collect, analysis and integration of data, so as to establish a postcompetency model framework. In order to evaluate staff positions, and applied to themanagement of human resources. To illustrate the competency model construction process,take GL company as an example, the abstract core quality, management quality and professional quality, and are about how to establish the standard and how to evaluate, andcompetency model in human resource recruitment, training, appraisal and successionplanning and other aspects.In addition, on how to achieve better occupation management, also on the occupationmanagers and employee occupation career design and management are discussed, and thecompetency model of how to promote the occupation occupation managers and employeeoccupation career management is expounded, the competent quality model can promote theirdevelopment.In this paper, writing structure through the domestic and foreign occupationdevelopment theory and practice review, on what is the occupation of understanding, clearthe occupation management content, at the same time in the company on the GL operatorteam, general management and professional staff, operational staff occupation managementstatus of the panoramic presentation, and in point out its deficiencies, and put forward to thecompetency model to promote the GL company occupation management developmentcountermeasures.
