China is a large agricultural country, is also the most populous country. The ability to meet the needs of Chinese grain production has a significant impact on the world economy. The majority of arable land in China has phosphorus deficiency, nearly6million hectares of arable land is in serious Phosphorus deficiency. Fertilizer can solve soil phosphorus deficiency directly, so Phosphate fertilizer production is related to an important foundation of our country to achieve food security and rural incomes. As long as Chinese phosphate fertilizer industry continuing to grow and develop, there have been many problems, which has begun to restrict the further development of the phosphate fertilizer industry, including overcapacity, scarcity and waste of resources, policy support dependency and lack of creativity etc.. Only a clear understanding of problems, and actively respond to find solutions measures, can achieve sustainable development of the phosphate fertilizer industry.In this paper, we analysis the impact of phosphorite resource integration on the competitiveness of the phosphate fertilizer industry from the national and regional level, based on the full analysis of the development status of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry. Finally, make some suggestions of strategic thinking of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry according to the results of analysis, and provide reference for China’s sustained and healthy development of phosphate fertilizer industry. Aimed to solve two major problems, the first one is to analyze current situation of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry with Porter’s’diamond model’; the other one is to predict the integration trend in the future of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry through empirical means.The whole passage analyzes the integration trends of the phosphate fertilizer industry. The first chapter is mainly about the significance of the topic and the main content as well as the research methods; the second chapter is a summary of the theoretical research at home and abroad, and proposed the analysis framework named "Diamond Model" that is ultimately used in this article, we also make analysis of industrial integration theory domestic and international; The third chapter analyzes the current situation of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry with the "Diamond Model" from the aspects of the industry structure, resource current situation, industrial layout, the industry chain and environmental carrying capacity. Chapter4makes out the integration trend from the status quo of China’s phosphate fertilizer industry, described the phosphate fertilizer industry consolidation from three angles, the industrial organization, the industrial chain and the space integration, with quantitative analysis, and build the regional competitiveness evaluation index system of phosphate fertilizer industry. Conducted principal component analysis (PCA) for28Chinese provinces and cities, which exist phosphate fertilizer production, with the latest data; come to the regional competitiveness assessment scores, provide data support for direction of space integration. Chapter5proposed countermeasures and suggestions for the healthy development of the phosphate fertilizer industry, and put forward countermeasures from the system construction, industrial layout, brand building and reform of the industry associations. The last chapter is a summary and outlook of the whole text.
