Coordinating Development Relationship Between The Yangtze River Delta Port Clusters And Regional Economy

As we all known, in modern society, port is the dispensable part which is the assembly point and land transportation hub. Port is not only a water and land transport equipment, but also for safe access, becoming an important component in modern society and economy, to be a important service with its fully functional which determines its direction and level in that area and improve the level of economy. At the same time, on the background of the integration and network of international Port, relationship between port and region is extension of relationship between port and city. While, due to the differences between each area about resource conditions, the level of economic and local government environment, there is an unbalance condition in Port development. Thus, it is a pivotal role for us to coordinate the relationship between them, because the development of Port pushes forward the economy of the city rapidly. The Yangtze River Delta is the most advanced and rapid development in economy of China, having constructed massively for more than a decade, it is a basic condition for Port with its finer division of labour, reasonable layouts and coordinate functions to support the economy of the Yangtze River Delta and the area along the line. In this paper, to put balance the relationship between port clusters and regional economy, it uses the reference theory and discusses the prospect of the development in the the Yangtze River Delta, and looking forward to make a deeper probe to the development of the Yangtze River Delta, aiming to provide new ideas about the integration of both Port and economy development in Yangtze River Delta.This paper discusses the theory of port and economy first; followed by the grey relevancy analysis on the Yangtze River Delta port clusters and the development of economy in that area, as well as the characteristics of regional economy in the Yangtze River Delta; Then, according to the port and economy situation, it analysis the coordination degree between the Yangtze River Delta port clusters and regional economy, and sustainability assessment; Finally, it is expected to ensure the rapid development of the premise, to put forward suggestions and measures based on the planning trend to promote the coordinating level between port clusters and regional economy in the Yangtze River Delta.
