Textile and garment industry is one of key Industries for Chinese national economy. Inpast30years, textile and garment Industry has also contributed much on employment andforeign currency earning. After the development in the years, Chinese textile and garmentIndustry has grown with fully Industrial system. Base on the advantage, now China hasbecame the production base of textile and garment for the entire world. However, in thenew century, with the development of economy globalization, especially after south Asiacountries participated in worldwide economy deeply, Chinese textile and garment Industryhas been facing more intense competition from the countries. Furthermore, with thedemographic dividend running off, Chinese textile and garment Industry must think of theimportant issue as industrial upgrading. Among all measures of Industrial upgrading,Supply Chain Management (SCM) is one of most effective way to enhance textile andgarment enterprise’s quality, time and cost benefit, which are also the most importantapproach to boost up textile and garment enterprise’s competitiveness.The thesis constructs the general framework of SCM for a garment foreign tradeenterprise---NT company. Under guide of the SCM theory, the core competence and valuechain theory, supply chain partnership theory and supply chain information sharing, baseon the analysis of operating environment and the problem NT company is suffering, thethesis constructs the supply chain integrated management model. The model reflects thefeature of garment foreign trade enterprise. After integrating the inside and outsideresource, the cost of product will be maximum reduced, and market value of the productwill also be enhanced finally. Via all these measures, the garment foreign trade enterprisewill be able to achieve the object of enhancing the competence of whole supply chain.The reform of in-house business processes and organization is the base of supply chainmanagement. Base on the analysis of current business processes and organization of NTcompany, the thesis suggest outsourcing as a measure of SCM in the operation of garmentforeign trade company. Under the premise of outsourcing, the thesis also elaborate the procedure of organization and business processes reforming in terms of OEM and ODM.The management of supply chain partnership and integrating of core competence andvalue chain from these partners are the core of supply chain management. The thesis firstlyanalyzes the selection of supply chain partners for NT company. Then the thesis alsoelaborates how NT company confirm its strategic partners via the index system of supplychain partner selection. Finally, the thesis analyze the model of cooperation for NTcompany and its partners, and how NT company integrates its core competence and valuechain with its strategic partners.Supply chain information sharing is the guarantee of success of supply chainmanagement. The thesis firstly analyzes four types of supply chain information flow. Baseon the analysis on function of current information system, the thesis determines the wayhow to build NT supply chain information sharing system.. The thesis also describes indetails the operation of NT supply chain information sharing system in future.Performance evaluation is the basic guarantee of supply chain management. The thesissystematic analyzes performance evaluation model and the measures to enhance theperformance. Base on the SCOR model, the thesis suggest the index system to determinethe performance of NT’s suppliers.Finally, the thesis forecasts the problems NT company will face during supply chainmanaging in future, and also provides some idea on how to solve these problemseffectively.
