Wuyishan City is the birthplace of China oolong tea, is also the birthplace of China black tea. The tea planting and processing has a long in Wuyishan city, and it can trace back from1500years ago NanBei Dynasties history. The tea industry is the traditional industry in Wuyishan City, absorbs large numbers of people in tea production, processing, sales etc, and effectively promotes the rural labor transfer and farmers’ income. After development years, the tea industry has gradually transfered from the traditional industry to especial and preliminary of industry in Wuyishan city, has become important guarantee of economic construction. To accelerate development of tea industry will has a very important effect to establish especial economy and promote regional economy.With the raising of people’s living standard, it was becoming higher and higher to quality requirement of tea. Organic tea should be developed vigorously, it adapts to market demand, and improves economic benefit of tea.Based on investigated present situation of development of Wuyishan city tea industry, this paper analyzed development advantage and the main probloms of organic tea, and put forward development Strategy in Wuyishan city. The main conclusions are as follows:1、The end of2011, tea garden area was8460ha in Wuyishan city, origanic tea garden was866.7ha, account for10.03%of total tea garden, output of tea was nearly8,000tons, and output value of tea was1.406billion yuan, accounting for one fifth of the city’s GDP.215enterprises were allowed to use the Product of geographical indication-specific signs (account for38%of Fujian Province). During10years, quantity of anti-counterfeit labels of geographical indications reached2200million." Wuyi Mount Da Hong Pao" certification was regarded as Famous Trademark in China, three trademarks were named Province famous trademark in Fujian, five brands tea were granted "Fujian Famous Brand "title in2010.2、in The main problems of organic tea development in Wuyishan City were:(1) firm size was small, and brand-name product was less.(2) lack of talents and technology, and the service system is not perfect.(3) quality and safety traceability system is imperfect;(4) lag of market management.3、Development strategy of organic tea in Wuyishan City were:(1) reasonably making development plan and properly developing organic tea.(2) supporting leading enterprises, building brand of quality work.(3) increasing investment in science and technology, solving the bottleneck of organic tea development.(4) strengthening the system construction of organic tea garden technology.(5) Perfecting quality and safety traceability system of organic tea.(6) increasing the intensity of training and advocacy, improving the cognitive level of organic tea.(7) playing the advantages of tourist areas, constructing tourism and leisure base of tea production.(8) making innovation sregulatory mechanism, assurancing the sustainable development of the organic tea industry.4、Development of Wuyi Star Tea Co., Ltd., showed that developing organic tea is very benefit to rapid development of enterprise.
