As a model of general contract, EPC has also been developing rapidly in recent years. However, the project risk assessment is still in its initial stage. The general contracting projects often face the situation of large work quantities, large amount of money, long construction period, complex technology, and the changing external conditions, therefore, the risk management is of great significance to ensure the successful implementation of project.In the face of the current situation of contractors general lacking of risk evaluation, this paper firstly analyzes the characteristics of the general contracting project risk and the uncertainty risk factors, and presents a different indicators of risk evaluation system based on the analysis of the four angles from the organization and management, technical, environmental and resource, information entropy and unascertained mathematics are also introduced to the risk assessment under the mode of EPC. The information entropy is used to determine the weight of objective indicators, subjective indicators is measured by expert scoring,and unascertained measurement is used to the evaluate and identify the risk factors, which overcomes some defects of traditional risk assessment, and makes the risk evaluation system more reasonable.Finally, the feasibility and validityt of the risk evaluation system is confirmed by an instance,which provides effective reference for the EPC project risk management.
