The banking industry is the important industry in China’s economic and social development.It is developing to the direction of marketing,networking and internationalization,it asks the bank employees, especially the bank tellers have the knowledge and technology to keep pace with the times and to provide more convenient financial products and tools for customers.They representative the bank image and culture externally,they contact with a great deal of the customers directly,the working attitude and quality directly influence the customers’satisfaction,influence the development of the organization. Therefore,when bank tellers face to the obstinate customers during the working process,they can’t dispute with them,but they should have to service them patiently and smiley; Internally the tellers shoulder important business management responsibility, facing with strict promotion system,and machinery to do the same work every day,all theses things make tellers feel monotonous, and lack of working passion. All of these reasons have,to different extent,bring teller pressure,and the pressure are not released down for the whole year,thus it brings to tellers physical, psychological and physical effects,affect individual and organization performance,damage enterprise interests.Therefore,it has vital significance to study the influence that work pressure to the work performance.Based on the research of previous literature,and then make the bank tellers of Nanchang regions of the State-owned commercial Banks as the research sample.First,the author has designed the questionnaire about "The influence of bank tellers’work pressure to the work performance",which includes three parts,personal basic information,the sources of pressure,working performance.The factor analysis results shows,the bank tellers’ work pressure mainly come from six dimensions:Task pressure, Work role stress,Interpersonal relationship pressure,Career development pressure,Organization structure and organization tendentiousness pressure,Family and social interaction with work pressure.The Work performance includes two dimensions:Task performance and Contextual performance.Second,with different individual attributes as individual intermediary variable,and analyze its influence on the relationship of work pressure and performance.At last,the author analyzes the relationships on work pressure and its dimension and performance and its dimensions, safely draw the conclusion:First,task pressure are significantly different in different marriage,age and seniority levels;Work role stress has significant difference in different age levels;Interpersonal relationship pressure has significant difference in different length of service levels;The Family and social interaction with work pressure has significant difference in different levels on marriage and age,record of formal schooling and length of service;The overall work pressure is significant different in different levels of age and length of service;In addition, the task performance is significant difference in different levels of marriage;The contextual performance and the overall work performance are significant different in different age levels.Second,the correlation between overall task pressure and task performance is not significant,but its correlation coefficient is negative,in the meantime,it is significantly negative correlation between the total work pressure and task performance and the total work performance.Third,the task pressure and work role pressure influence the task performance negatively;Interpersonal relationship pressure and career development pressure have significantly positive influence on task performance;The work role pressure,organization structure and organization tendentiousness pressure have negative influence on contextual performance;Interpersonal relationship pressure has positive influence on contextual performance;The work role stress,organization structure and organization tendentiousness pressure have negative influence on the total work performance,and the work role pressure has the most negative influence on total work performance;The interpersonal relationship pressure and career development pressure have positive influence on the total work performance;The ask pressure and family and social interaction with work pressure haven’t entered the regression model of total work performance,but the regression coefficients are negative, and this result is also consistent with the related analysis accordingly.Based on the above research conclusions,this paper put forward some suggestions on improving the bank teller’s working pressure,and make a prospect on the follow-up study.Suggestions include:Optimize the bank tellers’ business process,relieve the cabinet job role stress;Adjust career development pressure, improve cabinet job performance;To strengthen the construction of organizational culture,and properly handle interpersonal relationships pressure;Perfecting examination incentive system, improve the work efficiency within organizations;Strengthen the teller skills training,alleviate cabinet job pressure;Focus on the family and social factors,reflect organization humanistic care.In the follow-up study,we can expand research samples and scope,choose more comprehensive variable as middle variable,and design more reasonable questionnaire to do research.
