By the financial reform, our bank’s competition is intensified. The competition betweenBanks is the competition between businesses. In the high pressure of business competition,the bank employees are also facing more and more work pressure. There is a great theoreticaland realistic significance for reducing work pressure, physical and mental health, increasingwork performance, effective stress management, giving the employees’ potential andimproving quality of life and enterprise production efficiency.Based on stress management theory, make a literature review for work pressure, worksatisfaction, organizational commitment, work-family conflict, social support and workcontrol, and analyze that organizational commitment, social support and work control play aregulatory role on the relationship between work pressure and work satisfaction orwork-family conflict. Work pressure has a significant influence on work satisfaction andwork-family conflict, but there is little research on the regulatory effects, especially inbanking background. This paper carries on the questionnaire survey for four majorstate-owned banks, empirically the analyzes multi-layer linear regression model with thedependent variables of work satisfaction and work-family conflict, the independent variableof work pressure, the adjusting variables of organizational commitment, social support, workcontrol, and further analyzes the demographic variables’ influence.By the empirical analysis, the paper reaches the conclusions: demographic variables havesignificant influence on the work-stress-related variables; and there is strong andweak influence among the various work-stress-related variables. Finally, according toresearch findings, this paper proposes some work-stress control strategies: according todemographic factors, making personnel rational selection and appointment; based on theemployees themselves, reducing stress; improving social skills, enhancing social support;improving pressure control, releasing pressure; adopting a flexible work system, resolving thetime conflict.
