Study On High-tech Enterprises’ Spinning Off Mechanism

Although the new businesses’ establishment form-spin offs has appeared for a long time,but the foreign and domestic scholars’ researches about spin-offs are still in the early stages ofdevelopment. Spin-off is particularly evident in the high-tech industrial cluster. With the rapiddevelopment of scientific and technological spin-offs in the high-tech industrial cluster, it needstheory about scientific and technological spin-offs, which is suitable for China nationalconditions to guide its growth. With this purpose, the paper does a more systematic theoreticaland empirical research on the mechanism of scientific and technological spin-offs, which isfrom the perspective of high-tech industrial cluster.This paper is divided into five chapters. In chapter1, the paper mainly introduces purpose,meaning, contents, research methods, innovation points and technical route of the paper. Inchapter2, domestic and foreign scholars’ theories, which are about scientific and technologicalenterprises and high-tech industry cluster, are combed. It focus on connotation and presentsituation about spin-offs, the generalities and characteristics between high-tech industry clusterand traditional industry cluster, the special law of the formation and development of high-techindustry cluster, the relationships between spin-offs and their parent. In chapter3, firstly, theprogress of the generation and development of spin-offs are studies. Secondly, the main successfactors of scientific and technological spin-offs are identified by the Delphi method. And baseon this, it probes into the interactive relationship between scientific and technological spin-offsand high-tech industry cluster. In chapter4, combined with the features of scientific andtechnological spin-offs, innovation mechanisms and performance of scientific andtechnological spin-offs’ innovation are conducted in-depth study. On the basis of the largeamount of questionnaire and data, we use the SPSS17.0to analysis the data. In chapter5, on thebase of foreign advanced experience and case study, the problems are summed up in thedevelopment of China’s scientific and technological spin-offs.We put forward suggestions andcountermeasures for the development of scientific and technological spin-offs in China,respectively from the angle of the government institutions, the intermediary organization, theenterprise itself, universities and research institutions. In chapter6, this paper is summarized.We find the deficiency, and look forward to the future direction of the research.
