After30years of reform and opening-up, China has accelerated the pace ofintegration with the world and become a part of world economy. Economicglobalization brings up not only the rapid development of various industries, but alsoprofound influence on China’s labor-capital relations. The globalization of capital andtrade creates a large quantity of wealth in china, which also makes China’slabor-capital relations in the changing and turbulent environment. As a result, theproblem and contradiction between employees and employers has become morecomplicated, which absolutely reacts on the harmonious society and sustainableeconomic development. Consequently, it’s urgent and necessary for us to adjust thecurrent capital-labor relationships. We can conclude that the collective bargainingsystem plays an effective role in adjusting the labor-capital relations from theexperiences of Western developed countries.Under the guidance of industrial relations theory of Political economy, with theways of game theory, the paper aims to discuss the collective bargaining system inadjusting the labor-capital relations of china. First of all, the essay introduces thebackground and meaning of this topic and defines related concept of labor-capitalrelationships and collective bargaining. In the second chapter, an overview ofdomestic and foreign researches in labor-capital relations and the collectivebargaining system is given. After that, the essay indicates the need for adjustment oflabor-capital relations on the base of the reality that our labor-capital relations hasbecome more complex and intensify. Then this paper analyses the phenomenon ofcooperation and conflict between labors and employers with the tool of game theory.The main reason of the clash between capital and labor is the lack of an effectivecoordination mechanism, resulting in both sides have taken the strategy of conflictunder the principle of maximizing individual interests. Moreover, the articledemonstrates the possibility of collaboration between them in repeated games, andthen put forward the idea that collective bargaining system is an effective andimportant way. Thirdly, we focus on the experiences of collective bargaining inforeign countries. In the end of the paper, we point the problems of implementationprocess which exist in China’s current system of collective bargaining and propose theconcrete solutions to solve these issues. Guided by the ideology of Materialism, the paper puts China’s labor-capitalconflicts under the background of Economic Globalization, and uses the game theoryto analysis the conflict and cooperation between labor and capital, thus to find aneffective way to adjust the labor-capital relations. All these are the innovations of thistopic.
