The Study On Government Supervision And Counter Measures Of Food Safety In China

Food for human survival and development depends on the material basis, with the socialand economic development, people’s living standards, food quality and safety has been moreconsumer attention. In recent years, global food quality and safety issues continue to arise,China’s food safety accidents, the public health caused great harm, triggering a consumercrisis of confidence in the food industry, resulting in a negative social impact. Meanwhile, theGovernment as the main body of food safety control, credibility questioned by consumers.Therefore, the study of government regulation of food safety issues, analyze problems,scientific and rational way and means to adjust the regulation to improve food security statusis of great significance.In this paper, the object of study is the government regulation of food safety,usingeconomics, public management-related theory. First,for food security and food safetygovernment regulation for the definition of the concept, and basic theory are described. Andsecondly, on food safety government regulation, a brief summary of the status quo, and thenfocus on analysis of government regulation of food safety problems. Mainly from the internalsystem, external regulatory environment, regulatory standards and other aspects of theanalysis. Then try to cause problems on the formation of analysis, in based on this, combinedwith knowledge of public management and foreign successful experience for China’s nationalconditions, China’s food safety issues raised to improve government regulation of theresponse. The proposal for the government from the inside out, from general to detail, fromthe guiding ideology to the specific law enforcement,consumer and manufacturers of variousefforts to improve food safety problems the efficiency of government regulation.
