Food safety is one of the most talked about issues in today’s society, frequent food safetyevents have seriously affected the health of human life, and it become the most importantthreats to our life. Therefore, governments around the world will take the food safety issuesas one of the important national strategic, and increased food safety supervision. Food safetyis one measure of the quality of people’s standard of living, also charged with verification ofsocial management and important duty of the national legal system. In recent years, foodsafety events frequently. food safety regulation has become an important issue to strengthenthe legal government building and development to promote social harmony and stability.Food safety events occur frequently in our country, and every time food safety eventsaffecting the number of people has reached hundreds of thousands or more. This brings hugerisks for the country’s economic development, political stability and social peace. We alsoneed to see, many food safety events occurred in our country, such as “Sanlu milk powder”,“Cooking Oil” exposed many inadequacies in our country’s food safety managementsystem.In contrast,developed countries continue to reform food safety, building nationalfood safety system, strengthen food safety supervision.Today, our people more and moreattention on the health of the body,also on the improvement of China’s food safety regulatorysystem. In this case, how to further improve our country’s food safety regulatory system, howto improve food safety regulatory capacity,and how to solve the food safety hazards, hasbecome a top priority.This is the most important for the protection of people’s health,and forgovernment establish a good image. Our country is in the stage of development ofsocialism,and economic development rapidly. How to resolve food safety issues efficientlyand smoothly,is the topic what we need to research.This study consists of seven parts. The first part is an introduction. proposed theproblems in regulation on food safety of our country. summarizes the current research,anddescribes the framework and research methods of this paper. The second part is the basictheory, summarize some of the basic concepts and ideas about food safety regulatory system.The third part is the analysis of the historical evolution and current situation of thedevelopment of China’s food safety regulatory system.On this foundation, summed up theproblem. The fourth part is an example of food safety regulatory system in Japan, U.S., EUand other developed countries,and some cities in our country, just like ShenZhen,WuHan,summarize their experience. Part V is a case study of Hangzhou. Analysis of the food safetyregulatory reform measures taken in Hangzhou, found the deficiencies and the reason. Byintroducing the Hangzhou’s food safety regulatory system reform underway, to illustrate thefeasibility of the countermeasures to our country what proposed in the previous article.The VIpart presents the path and countermeasures of our country’s food safety regulatory reform. Included improving food safety regulatory organizations configuration, building thecommunity regulatory net of food safety, and improving the support system of food safetyregulatory. Part VII is a summary of the full text.
