In recent years, with the increasingly fierce market competition, many companies are trying to survive the fierce competition by organizational change, restructuring, personnel streamlining. No doubt these measures will be able to improve the competitiveness of the enterprises, but for staff personally, the negative impact is more than positive roles brings by these measures. On the other hand, companies ask more for employees’ knowledge of technology, educational background, and so on. With the increasing uncertainties in the working environment, employees’ job insecurity is growing strongly.The research of job insecurity abroad has generated a wealth of theoretical results and measurement tools, but our country still lack of theory of job insecurity. Therefore, on the basis of existing research and literature, this paper will further explore the structure and dimensions of Chinese employees’ job insecurity, and examine the working mechanisms of job insecurity on job satisfaction. What’s more, this paper will also examine the mediating role of organizations support between the relationship of job insecurity on job satisfaction, to expand the theory of job insecurity in China.This paper did a research on the274employees of different enterprises in Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and so on. Through the analysis of the data collected by the questionnaire, this paper get the following conclusions:1, Employees differ in demographic and histological variables will differ in job insecurity;2, Job insecurity and its five dimensions have negative effect on job satisfaction;3Perceived organization support plays a mediating role between the relationship of job insecurity and job satisfaction;4, Perceived organizational support plays a mediating role between the relationship of job loss insecurity, job execution insecurity, excessive competition insecurity and job satisfaction, and different types of organizational supports can play different roles. Business managers should pay attention to the huge effect brings by the perceived organizational support, and ease the negative impact on job satisfaction bring by job insecurity.
