China with a population of over1.4Billion people, and being one of the largest production countries in the world, is slowly facing a few problems with their exports. Buyers are now slowly moving towards other smaller countries to get cheaper products. But in this constant war of the cheapest product and the best possible quality, the Chinese industry is suffering as production costs are raising and the competitive advantage being lost. Since the environment, alternative energy, sustainable development is given so much importance. And Chinese products were seen as low quality, unhealthy and cheaper alternative products by the rest of the world. It is about time when the Chinese companies step into the environmental business. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the future prospects of the Chinese businesses to gain competitive advantage over other producers by using sustainable measures.In light of these environmental issues the author has decided to take into consideration the current environmental problems. A comprehensive analysis of the new light of an environmentally friendly business scope is conducted to acknowledge profit maximization of the Chinese producers. For this the author has prepared a detailed analysis through detailed questionnaires and interviews with international managers to acquire current business to business consumer behavior in the international world. Furthermore the author has also analyzed the differences in western and Chinese management practices in light of theories, to explain how the Chinese can manufacturers can adopt effective marketing strategies after being considered a green company. Lastly the author has described how Chinese industrial manufacturers can achieve greater profits and lower costs by practicing green supply chain techniques.
