Land is the most basic of human survival, the current situation is not optimistic of cultivated land in Sichuan province, not only has little arable land and cultivated land per capita decline in the General level of quality, but only environmental pressures. For this series of questions, this article using the emergy theory and methods, in Sichuan province from1991to2010system for quantitative analysis of cultivated land during the aim of understanding the structure and function of farmland system in Sichuan province, sustainable situation and on this basis, further in-depth analysis. Draw main conclusions are as follows:(1) Sichuan province high emergy inputs of industrial support of cultivated land, by2010have reached72.71%, a description of the system of cultivated land have been stages of transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, arable land productivity in Sichuan province were no longer dependent on natural resource inputs; Sichuan province high emergy inputs of industrial support of cultivated land, by2010have reached72.71%, a description of the system of cultivated land have been stages of transition from traditional agriculture to modern agriculture, arable land productivity in Sichuan province were no longer dependent on natural resource inputs; Through the analysis of food emergy density, that rice and wheat is still the main cereal crops in Sichuan province.(2)"Net emergy production and emergy output reflects the declining productivity of farmland system, is already a loss "system"; Continual improvement in emergy intensity of cultivated land, describes the intensive level of cultivated land increases; Continual improvement in emergy investment rate, reflects the increase of the level of economic development in Sichuan province; Continual improvement in environmental load rates, high rates of environmental load will affect the sustainable utilization of cultivated land, so you should pay attention to.(3) On the basis of the theory of emergy in this article, combined with the ecological footprint model, came to the farmland ecological sustainability index in Sichuan province. From1991to2010, ecological deficits grew relatively quickly, by increased from0.45hm2/to0.64hm2/people.Ecological sustainable development of cultivated land in Sichuan province from1991to2010has been in a steady trend of reducing and eco-sustainable index has been less than0.34, is in a medium not status.Emergy/money ratio indicates that Sichuan Province can currency in exchange for less and less energy value of the total currency in circulation increased volume, and the economic sphere systems use monetary resources purchased products continue to increase. (4) According to the findings of the study made the following recommendation:strict control of cultivated land reduction and improve the construction of cultivated land quality management system; Adjusting the structure of output of cultivated land, improving the agricultural science and technology; Adjusting the structure of output of cultivated land, improving the agricultural scientific and technological content.
