The Land Use Change And Eco-environment Quality Assessment During Urbanization Taking Bohai Coastal Cities As An Example

Land use is the product of nature and human social interaction interaction. Humanpurpose to meet their own needs process through certain activities on the land. In recent years,land use has become a hot topic of researchments. Especially with the development ofurbanization, the expansion of the urban entity in space is bound to bring changes in land usetypes. And the contradiction between people and land has become increasingly prominent. Inaddition, with the rapid development of science and technology, the human’s ability toadaptation and utilization of the natural environment is gradually increasing, there willimprove the ecological environment degrees of the cities. Therefore, land use change in thecontext of urbanization and its impact on the city’s ecological environment has very importantsignificance.Bohai coastal cities such as Yantai, Weifang, Tianjin, Qinhuangdao, Jinzhou, Yingkouand Dalian for the study, analyzed the level of urbanization, the speed and degree of land usechange, city’s ecological environment quality, and land use change process with the city’secological environment from2000to2009. The result is that the cultivated area of the Bohaicoastal cities show a decreasing trend from2000to2009, forest area had increased, gardenarea and grassland area in Tianjin reduce the sharpest. The area of industrial land and theliving area of the Bohai coastal cities had different increasing levels in urban areas. Urbanland for public facilities and transportation land were shown to increase the trend.This studyfor the future Bohai coastal areas, provides the scientific and theoretical basis to solve theproblems of land resources with the development of urbanization. The research results canprovide a reference proposal for the sustainable use of land resources and improving thequality of urban ecological environment and it has very important theoretical and practicalsignificance.These changes showed that the2000-2009period, with the improvement of the level ofurbanization of the coastal cities in the Bohai, the city’s land use construction andinfrastructure had changed.
