Research On Credit Risk Management Of Changzhou Export Enterprises

Since2001, China formally joined the WTO. Changzhou has maintained steady and rapid development in export trade, but the exchange collection risk is also growing. According to Changzhou Foreign Trade Bureau statistics, the bad debt rate of Changzhou overseas receivables is more than1.5%, and increased$15million per year. Such a huge amount of overseas bad debt not only greatly eroded the export enterprises operating performance in Changzhou, but also had a serious impact on the safety of total exports in Changzhou. Accurately identify the export credit risks, and take effective preventive measures, this is the current problem Changzhou exporters have to face. Ability to establish an effective and practical export credit risk management system to enhance the export enterprise credit risk management will become the Changzhou export enterprises primary means to obtain competitive advantage, even the key to determine export business’survival and development.This paper has firstly summarized the relative theories and concepts of credit management, then analyzed the actual, existent problems and the causes of these problems of credit risk management about Changzhou export enterprise by the way of questionnaire survey. Secondly, it has adopted methods of the combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis; used foreign advanced theories and models of export credit risk management for reference; combined the characteristic of Changzhou export trade; proposed credit risk management measure and method, established credit risk management system. Finally, proposed risk management Policy system to offer Changzhou export enterprise a set of operable method, technique and management system for strengthening credit risk management.
