| "The12th Five-Year" is a critical period of transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial economy. With the accelerated process of industrialization in China, the regional industrial structure has been in constant adjustment, although significant progress is made, the constraints and impact of industrial structure transformation. The upgrade is still outstanding, such as traditional factor endowments, comparative advantage is waning, overcapacity tendency to expand, the obvious contradiction between the extensive development of heavy and chemical industries and resources and environmental constraints. The choice of the leading industries is an important way to achieve optimization of industrial structure, regional economic sustainable development. The right to select and nurture the healthy development of the regional leading industry has become the regional economy, especially the focus of the regional industrial economic development. This is because the leading industries of the level of development is directly related to a country or regional industrial structure adjustment and transformation and upgrading. Process of regional economic growth, whose essence is the leading industry constant turnover process. Over the past decade, the pace of economic development as one of the cities of Yangtze River Delta economic circle in Yangzhou City has accelerated, markedly, but its industrial structure, especially the readjustment of industrial structure is not obvious, the positioning of the leading industries is also not clear enough, which directly affect the regional development of other industries.In this paper, the study found: Yangzhou city in the Chenery stage of development criteria for the classification of the traditional industrialized late stage, and continue to trend to the direction of heavy industrialization. Based on this, Yangzhou city industrial as a regional leading industry is selected the object of study, how to choose the leading industries suitable for economic development in Yangzhou, Yangzhou’s smooth realization of the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure, thus contributing to the key to sustainable economic and social development.The article first defines the connotation of the leading industries and a number of important conceptual distinctions and ties, and then summed up the key features of the leading industries. Systematically analyze the subsequent literature on the selection of studies of the leading industries at home and abroad, and through the analysis of the current Yangzhou economic development status, to build the income elasticity of demand, the region of the proportion of value-added, industry growth, the coefficient of elasticity, the growth rate of technological progress, bit entropy eleven of the capital profit tax rate, comparative labor productivity, energy consumption rate of output value, employ absorption rate, the influence coefficient of sensitivity coefficient as Yangzhou city-led evaluation index selected by the industry, and by building the model of regional leading industries and the principle component-analysis filter can be used as alternative leading industries of the leading industry of Yangzhou city, and industry specific analysis.Obtained by the analysis:instrumentation and cultural office in manufacturing, transportation equipment manufacturing, rubber manufacturing industry as the leading industry factor in Yangzhou city, and a choice for these leading industries, this article form the industry factor in the development needs of the industry base construction, to transform and upgrade traditional industries, the independent innovation of enterprise, as well as regional cooperation and other aspects of the overall development of Yangzhou city, leading industry suggestions. |
