Research On Relationship Between Social Capital And Technological Innovation: Based On The Knowledge Creation

With the advent of the knowledge era, and the accelerating of economicglobalization, more and more enterprises realize that the source of enterprisecompetitive advantage has been transformed into a knowledge-based resource. Ifcompanies want to maintain their advantage in a competitive market environment, hadto balance double capability of both accumulation of internal resources andacquisition of external resources to upgrade the technology innovation levelcontinuously and consolidate its core competitiveness. However, most of the existingsocial capital studies remain at the external social capital or a single element level,and a comprehensive, in-depth research on mechanism is rarely seen. Rapiddevelopment of knowledge and technology put forward higher requirements, so thestudies on technology and the perspective of internal and external social capital andknowledge-related are becoming increasingly important.At present, using the effect of social capital on knowledge creation to get moreand more new knowledge and technologies is the common practice in order toimprove the company technological innovation, which has been attracted the attentionof scholars. So, the thesis set up mechanism theory model of internal and externalsocial capital to technological innovation by knowledge creation by using the researchachievement and relevant theoretical reflection have offered of social capital、knowledge creation and technology innovation theory. This thesis chooseinvestigation on relevant staff of various prefectures in Shan xi province as datasource, by using SPSS17.0and LESERL8.70statistical software for the empiricaltest to the model hypothesizes.Research indicates that internal and external social capital through the partialintermediation of knowledge creation has significant effect on technologicalinnovation. Effect of external social capital is larger than the internal social capital,which also reflects low level of independent technological innovation in Shan Xi.Thus technological enterprise in Shan Xi should determine the leading position of internal social capital and steady auxiliary functions of external social capital. Finally,improve the level of knowledge creation at all stages in order to push thetechnological innovation of enterprise.
