A Model On Technological Innovation For Multinational Corporations Based On The Theory Of Knowledge Management

Technological innovation is an effective way for transnational corporations (TNCs) to obtain technical knowledge and improve technical competence, and knowledge management is a hot topic in the rising knowledge field of 21st century. So it is of great significance if knowledge management theory is integrated into the process of TNC's technological innovation.Based on the perspective of the Knowledge Management Theory, the process of the TNC's technological innovation is discussed. The paper summarizes the existing research of Five Technological Innovation, Knowledge Creation Theory and TNC's Technological Innovation Theory in order to analyze the mode of TNC's technological innovation from Knowledge Management perspective. For the current international market requirements and based on SECI theory, the paper tries to put forward TNC's Knowledge Creation mode depending on the TNC's technological innovation advantages.On the basis of Knowledge Management Perspective, this study proposes the internal and external security system of TNC's technological innovation. The internal security system of TNC's knowledge creation has four parts:human resources management, information system, organizational culture and internal resources system construction, while the external security system of TNC's knowledge creation is constituted by the host resources environment, industry environment and policy environment construction. All these elements provided bring conditions to the successful implementation of TNC's knowledge creation mode.
