Study On Influences Of The Dynamic Capabilities On Competitive Advantages Of Born-international Enterprises

Small and medium-sized enterprises now have become the importantparts of the development of national economic，as well as a main carrier ofresearch and development in the national innovation technology. For ourchina speaking，the international operation of International export-orientedenterprises is of key importance for the structure and development of oureconomic. At present，in China，a new form of export-oriented small andmedium-sized enterprises—born international enterprise， especially inShanDong，ZheJiang，FuJian coast as well as GuangDong and other regionsis booming. However，in view of the rising of this form of entrepreneurship，there have no systematic studies. In fact， in the field of strategicmanagement， establishing and maintaining competitive advantage forenterprises has been the basic research subjects. At present，under thebackground of economic globalization，enterprises（especially small andmedium enterprises） are facing more complex and ever-changing externalenvironment. Due to this situation，because of the lack of resources，noperfect marketing channel，the lack of experience and management staff cannot quickly integrate into the practical business operation as well as otherfactors，to build and maintain competitive advantage is very difficult for newborn-international enterprises. Nevertheless， according to the dynamicresource based view，enterprises can to obtain and maintain the competitiveadvantage through deploying their valuable resources and at last achieveeconomic efficiency. This theory is also known as dynamic capability theory.In view of this situation，from the perspective of dynamic resource basedview，this paper takes the born-international enterprises as the researchobjects，and explores the relationship between the dynamic capability andcompetitive advantages of these born-international enterprises in theinternational markets. First of all，we analyze the present research progressof relevant theories about born-international enterprises、dynamic capabilityand competitive advantages systematically. In this case，We reviewed therelevant papers about the concept、the present development situation andthe cause of formation of the born-international enterprises；the definition、connotation、dimensions of dynamic capabilities and the specific ways todevelop it；as well as the source、meaning、characteristics of competitiveadvantage，and the mode to formate it.Secondly，concerning about the characteristics of the born-internationalenterprises，combining with relevant theoretical analysis，we divide thecompetitive advantage into three：efficiency、function and persistence. At thesame time，creatively divide the dynamic capability of born-international enterprises into four dimensions of the resources conformity ability、learningability、innovation ability and the ability to adapt to the environment. On thisbasis we take the actual operation ability、the flexibility of management andorganization as well as the product diversity as intermediary factors，andanalyze the possible relationship between the dynamic capabilities andcompetitive advantages of born-international enterprises. Then propose the4main and12sub hypotheses about our main research model.Again，using Structural Equation Model as the method to test thetheoretical model，and the main analysis tools are SPSS20.0and AMOS20.0.Our research data mainly come from the web survey aboutborn-international enterprises in Shandong、ZheJiang、JiangSu and so onsome representative regions. The empirical results support9hypotheses inthe total of12，however，the positive relationship between the learningability、innovation ability、the ability to adapt to the environment and thepersistent dimension in competitive advantages of born-internationalenterprises can’t pass the hypothesis test in empirical research.Finally，we conclude the results of this study，at the same time，analyzethe defects of the theoretical and empirical study in this paper，and then，prospect for the future research.The points of innovation of the paper lies in：firstly，combining thecharacteristics of born-international enterprises、 the relevant theory ofinternational entrepreneurship and dynamic capabilities，putting forward anovel form of division about dimensions of dynamic capability and proposethe Credible evidences；secondly，in order to reveal the relationship betweendynamic capability and the competitive advantages of born-internationalenterprises， we take the actual operation ability、 the flexibility ofmanagement and organization as well as the product diversity asintermediary factors；finally，we analyze the relationship between the variousdimensions of dynamic capability and competitive advantages throughempirical research，which has not been carried out by previous studies.
