With the continuous development of economy globalization, the market is segmented further, a large number of niche market have sprung up in the international market, which provide living space for the new small and medium-sized enterprises which areweaker compared to the traditional globalized firms and help them avoid direct conflict with powerful competitors. What’s more, the constant improvement of transportationfacilities and the rapid development of information communication technology make theinternational trade more convenience and fast. In addition, more and more international talents emerged in the international market, and most of them have the experience of oversea live, study and work, as well as the global thinking and vision, and then, these factors drive the emergence of born-international enterprises from both subjective and objective aspects. However, due to the international market environment with highuncertainty, the life circle of product and technology shortened, and a series of “liability of newness”, make its survival more challenging. Therefore, in this case, this paper takes the born-globals with “liability newness” as the research objects, from the perspective of entrepreneurial capability, and explores the relationship between the entrepreneurial capability and competitive advantages of these born-globals. First of all, we retrospect the present research progress of relevant theories of born-globals, entrepreneurial capability and competitive advantages, including the definition of the born-globals and the its unique characteristics compared to the traditional international firms;the definition, dimensions and the recent development of relevant research about entrepreneurial capability;the definition, dimensions, source as well as research progress of competitive advantage.Secondly, combining with the characteristics of the born-globals, we divide the entrepreneurial capability of the born-globals into four dimensions of the opportunity ability, network ability, flexible ability and commitment ability;and we divide the competitive advantage into three:customer, speed and innovation advantage. On this basis, we take the breakthrough innovation, resource and information, strategic flexibility and firm reputation as intermediary factors, and explore the possible relationship between each dimension of the entrepreneurial capability and the competitive advantage of the born-international enterprises. Accordingly, we propose4main and12sub hypotheses about our research model.Again, we use SPSS21.0and AMOS7.0as the main tools for data analysis, and S tructural Equation Model to test the theoretical model. All the data we’ve got is through networking research, we send150pieces of questionnaire in total to the born-international enterprises in ZheJiang, BeiJing, FuJian and so on, and112pieces of them areeffective after removing the unqualified parts. The empirical results support11hypotheses, and the one which doesn’t pass the hypothesis test is the positive relationship between the flexible ability and the customer advantage. Finally, according to the research conclusions, we analyze the shortcomings and limitations of this study, and look to the future research directions. The innovation of the paper:firstly, on the basis of the existing literature, we combine the unique characteristics of the born-globals and the international market environment, and make a new division of entrepreneurial capability from the aspect of individual and organization;secondly, we take the breakthrough innovation, resource and information, strategic flexibility and firm reputation as intermediary factors, and explore thelogic relationship of how the entrepreneurial capability affect the competitive advantage of the born-globals, which also provide a new path for future search;thirdly, we analyze the relationship between the various dimensions of entrepreneurial capability and competitive advantage through empirical research systematically.
