With China’s rapid economic and social development, China urbanization process isaccelerated stage by stage. Economic development and urbanization process is therelation that promotes each other. Economic development promotes the urbanizationlevel, the growth of urbanization level provide a solid foundation for economicdevelopment. At present, China urbanization level is close to the world level, but it stillfar below the level of developed country. Therefore, study the development ofurbanization has very important theory and realistic meaning.This paper uses gray system theory to study the following three questions:1.Analysis the factor which can influence the level of China urbanization;2. Analysis thefactor which can influence China ’s four major regions urbanization level;3. ForecastChina and the four major regions urbanization level.This paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is introduction, it describedthis paper’s research background, made a review of relevant documents, introduced themain contents of the paper; The second chapter is define the concept of urbanization,described china’s urbanization stage and characteristics, and summarized the indicators ofregional differences; The third chapter uses gray system theory to study the factor whichcan influence China and China ’s four major regions urbanization level, establish GM(1,1)model to forecast the urbanization level; In the fourth chapter, united the front analysis toreach appropriate conclusions.This paper include the following conclusions:1. There are complex reasons for thedifferences of China’s urbanization level,education, medical and health conditions,industrial structure and agricultural production conditions are the major factors whichinfluence china’s urbanization level.2. China’s urbanization level will be catch up withthe average world level in2011, reach the developed countries’ level in2024. Accordingto the time that the urbanization level reach the developed countries’ level, we sort thefour major regions as east, central, western and the northeast.
