Supplier Selection Based On Fuzzy Group Decision Making Research

From1990’s, with the advent of economic globalization and market competition intensifies, supply chain management and supplier management have gained more and more attention by scholars and the companies. More and more companies started to strength the cooperation with suppliers, especially to make compact relationship with the strategic suppliers. So it is a very important concern to select the right suppliers that suit to the requireness of company’s development and that have a good development foreground.In the new economic integration situation of the customer demands is personal and the competition is increasingly fierce, the enterprise competence depends on wether it can make use of other resource effectively.Numerous enterprises have changed the role as the interest community to keep strategic partnership with others.In the environment of supply chain,the enterprise depends on customer demands,seeks the strategic supplier parters by scientific method of evaluation and selection rapidly,and implements effective management,the target of the progress is to hoisting its core capacity and obtain competitive advantage.How to select the right supplier, choose which index and adopt which methods to evaluate the sppliers are the main concern of this thesis.At the beginning of this thesis discuss the research background, intention and significance of this thesis, and summarize the supply chain management, supplier management and the methods of selecting and evaluating supplier both at home and abroad. Than analyse the classification of suppliers and the basic methods of selecting suppliers, and the steps to select supplier’s and the significance of selecting suppliers. By analyzing the status of supplier’s selection and the influencing factors in the new environment,and devise a new system for selecting and evaluating suppliers on the foundation of three aspects:operation structure and production competence,business management competence,exterior environment and compatibility by making use of available theories and methods,and explicate the application TOPSIS of fuzzy group decision making on spplier selection. Finally using a auto parts company’s suppliers selection case,I demonstrate the detail Process and the calculate methods.So an integrated framework of selecting suppliers is gradually founded, and it is effective for our companies to select good suppliers efficiently.
