Research On Interactive Development Between Port And Regional Economy

With the increasing development of integration of global economy, port development has played more and more important role in economic activities. The benefits port development brings illustrates on not only the port itself, but also the carry-over effect on port city and its surrounding local economy. It use its own port advantage, advanced software and hardware environment for logistics radiation activities of surrounding area. Using of loading and unloading, and distribution of goods advantages, vigorously develop port and the surrounding area industry cluster, optimize of the integration of port resources and play a role on regional economy, national economic. At the same time, the development of regional economy, in turn, can optimize the port transit transport industry, make port transit transportation upgrade, to inject new vitality for port development. So studying the interaction between port and regional economic has important practical significance.In this paper, we describe the mechanism for port and regional economic interaction, build interactive development model of port and regional economic. Based on above analysis, given Chongqing port as an example, we do the research on its current interactive situation of port and regional economic, where we use logistic model and typical correlation and then prove the interactive relationship between port and regional economic from internal and external system by spss17.0. At last, through the research on their interactive relation, some effective measurement to improve port and regional economic. It have been put forward, which involve strengthening port cooperation, developing ports’ advantages, expanding service functions of port logistics, largely developing water front industries, actively enlarging radiation capacity of port to form regional port group, optimizing industry structure and enhancing local cooperation to improve local economy.
